Free Comic Book Day!

It has returned! Free Comic Book Day will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008. Just in time for the new Iron Man movie from Marvel Comics and Paramount Pictures (website).

As always, there will be thousands of free comics to give away to anyone who makes it in that day. Each person that walks in the door that day to any Coliseum of Comics will be able to grab some great reads without spending a dime.

Texas Hold 'Em Tournament Winners

Our first Back Issue Poker tournament was very well received with a great turnout. Here's a quick rundown of the top players. Congratulations, guys!

We will be hosting another tournament next month on Saturday, April 19th at 1:00pm. Entry fee will only be $5 in Back Issue Bucks. E-mail Aaron (aaron@coliseumofcomics.com) or Chris (chrism@coliseumofcomics.com) at the Fashion Square Mall to let them know you'll be playing. Players need to turn in their $5 (Back Issue Bucks) prior to the event date to secure their spot.

The new Downtown Lakeland store was created from smashing our original Galloway Rd. location with the former Winter Haven store. Though smaller than Winter Haven, it's twice the size of the old Lakeland one. And we've completely rebuilt this store from the ground up.
