Coliseum of Comics at Millenia is hosting a 10-week summer Comic Literacy Course every Sunday afternoon starting at 1 pm. Each week will be focused on different aspect of our favorite hobby. Download the syllabus for a complete schedule.
This is a FREE course. The course is intended for younger readers, but parents and adults are welcome to attend.

We had a great time talking Superman, last week. We got to talk about the history of the character, the writers who’ve contributed, what he represents both in comics and in the real world, and why he’s such an important figure in pop culture. There’s a place in the discussion for fans at every level. Come join us this Sunday when we tackle Spider-Man!!
We haven’t had the young audience we were hoping to attract, but we’re having some great conversations with adults who want to learn more about comics. If you’re interested in learning more, have some opinions of your own to share, or just want to talk Batman, come on down to the Millenia location this Sunday at 1pm. We’ll be talking about the new movie, talking about the old movies, talking about the archetype that he has become and what the character represents in pop culture, but most importantly we’re going to be talking about the comics.
