Spider-Men #1 On Free Comic Book Day 2012 Coliseum of Comics got together with over 150 of its friends and customers to help make a comic book cover. And this Wednesday, that comic – SPIDER-MEN #1 – swings into Coliseum stores across Central Florida. In the five-part SPIDER-MEN limited series, Peter Parker, better known as the Amazing Spider-Man, crosses worlds and meet Miles Morales…the all-new Spider-Man? The Coliseum variant, featuring artwork by original Ultimate Spider-Man artist Mark Bagley, includes an inset of many incarnations of Spider-Men past and future penciled by Lakeland comic artist (and Coliseum employee) Aaron Conley (Myspace Dark Horse Presents, Creepy, Madman 20th Anniversary Monster) and digitally colored by Orlando graphic designer (also a Coliseum employee) Audrey Zindler. The art was inked, however, by over a hundred visitors to Coliseum of Comics’ Kissimmee location during the recent Free Comic Book Day 2012 event – each contributor inking a piece of Conley’s original pencils.
